Tokyo Disney Resort is one of the most popular tourist destinations. Tokyo Disneyland is a fun place for both children and adults, while Tokyo DisneySea offers thrilling rides, making it a great choice for grown-ups as well. Many people include a visit to Disney Resort in their travel plans. In this article, we will introduce three ways to get from Narita Airport to Tokyo Disney Resort.
Important Note:
If you plan to visit Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea, make sure to purchase your entrance tickets in advance via the internet, as they are not sold at the park’s ticket counters.
Here are three options for getting to Tokyo Disney Resort.
1. Airport Limousine Bus
The easiest way is to take the Airport Limousine Bus. This bus stops at various terminals at Narita Airport and takes you to Tokyo Disney Resort via the expressway in about one hour. The fare is higher than the train, but it’s very convenient and comfortable. However, keep in mind that the last bus from Disney Resort to Narita Airport departs early in the evening, so if you plan to stay at the park until closing time, you will need to return using another method.

2. Train
The nearest station to Tokyo Disney Resort is Maihama Station. There are several routes from Narita Airport to Maihama, but all of them require at least one transfer. If you catch the next train quickly, you can reach the resort in about an hour. However, during busy times, waiting for the next train could add extra time, and it may take around 1.5 hours. While the transfer process can be a bit of a hassle, train fares are generally cheaper than the Limousine Bus.
Note: If you take special express trains, the fare may be similar to that of the Limousine Bus.
Here’s a simple route:
- Purchase a ticket for the Keisei Narita Sky Access line from Narita Airport Station to Higashi-Matsudo Station.
- Take the limited express train bound for Haneda Airport or Nishimagome and get off at Higashi-Matsudo Station.
- Transfer from Keisei Line Higashi Matsudo Station to JR Line Higashi Matsudo Station.
- Buy a ticket for the JR line to Maihama Station. Take the JR Musashino Line train heading towards Tokyo Station, and get off at Maihama Station.

3. Taxi
If you’re traveling with small children or a lot of luggage, a taxi can be a convenient option. While advance booking is required, there are flat-rate taxis available from Narita Airport to Tokyo Disney Resort. The fare is higher than buses or trains, but you’ll enjoy a comfortable, direct ride. Taxi fares can vary depending on the vehicle and taxi company.
